The Franklin Delano Roosevelt (FDR) Memorial has the largest footprint of all the memorials in Washington. The Memorial includes many bronze statues, large stones, and waterfalls. (The waterfalls have always been a bit hit with my kids—making it one of their favorites) As you walk through, you see some of the issues FDR had to deal with during the Great Depression and World War II.
